EFCC Arrests 40 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Nasarawa

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), through its Kaduna Zonal Directorate, has arrested 40 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Nasarawa State.

The suspects were apprehended on Wednesday, April 29, 2025, during a targeted operation in Tammah, located in the Nasarawa Local Government Area.

Their arrest was based on credible intelligence that linked them to various cyber-related fraudulent activities.

During the raid, EFCC operatives recovered several items from the suspects, including five laptops and 34 mobile phones, all believed to be tools used in the execution of their alleged crimes.

According to the Commission, the suspects will be formally charged to court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.

This operation underscores the EFCC’s continued commitment to combating cybercrime and bringing perpetrators to justice across Nigeria.
